It's that time of year....(DIY Cold & Migraine Balm Recipe)

I'm feeling super grateful to my immune system, it's truly stronger than it's ever been before and I've been lucky enough to dodge most of those yucky bugs that have been going around! But there's a few sickys in my house dealing with super sinus pressure, runny nose, headaches...the works!

Here's a super easy Cold & Migraine Balm to ease up those symptoms as we make our way towards Spring!

Ingredients

1/4 cup of coconut oil

1/2 tsp cayenne

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp ginger root power (can use grated ginger root as well but will not keep as long)

1/8 tsp or a pinch of ground clove

3-5 drops of eucalyptus essential oil

tin or jar to keep in

How to make:

There's two ways to make this super easy balm.

1- mix all the products together and keep in lip balm tin...that's literally it

2- melt down the coconut oil before mixing rest of ingredients. I recommend this method especially if you are grating the ginger as this will help it to infuse a little better.

Adjust the ingredients to your liking,I prefer my balm to be quite strong to help in moving the mucus out of my body so you may find you prefer less cayenne or cinnamon.

How simple is that!? Just apply to temples, back of neck, under nose, & on your chest to experience a tingle and open up the passages.

(start by trying a test patch to make sure you're not irritated by any items on your skin)

Wishing you all well during these winter months!

Stay Smiling!
